Mindy was born Feb 5th 1977 in Liberal, Kansas. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1995 and went straight into Hutchinson Community College majoring in vocal performance, and graduating in 1997. She has since entertained at MAGIC KINGDOM in Orlando, Florida, had the lead roll in the stage productions; MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, GREASE, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, KISS ME KATE and GUYS AND DOLLS. Mindy has opened shows for Tracy Lawrence, John Berry, Ty Herndon, Diamond Rio, David Kersh, Tom Wopat, Terri Clark and toured as lead vocalist with the group Western Attitude.

In Mindy's own words, "I love the old time country music! I grew up listening to the Oak Ridge Boys, Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Roy Clark, Johnny Cash, etc. They made country music real and this is what I enjoy singing.

Opening up this 10 track album is "Guess Who's Back In Town", a rousing, fiddle laden track that is already receiving much airplay on radio stations here in the UK.

Next is the first of 4 Curt Ryle compositions.
"I Tripped Over Your Memory"
is a lively track, written in colaboration with Curtis Wright that tells of reconciling an old love.

"Palm Of Your Hand" is a wonderful ballad from the pen of Buck Owens, performed extremely well this time by Mindy. This is probably my favourite track on the album.

The tempo picks up again for the fast paced "New Kind Of Cowgirl" before slowing back down for the midpaced "Maybe Not In Those Words", an uncredited song, telling of the break-up of a relationship.

"Shy Little Bayou Love" is a rousing, Cajun influenced tune from the pens of Sandy Ramos and Connie Ellisor, that is certain to go down well with the linedancing fraternity.

Trying to kindle a love that isn't there is the theme for "Blowing Kisses In The Wind", a slow ballad written by Holly Lamar and Arlos Smith.

Mindy doesn't stay with the ballads for too long, and "Romeo Me" is a lively Curt Ryle composition that has her looking for a romantic lover.

Curt Ryle is the writer again, this time with Holly Lamar on the slow ballad "The Enemy" with the punchy "Connect The Dots", a Curt Ryle/Jerry abbott composition, closing this fine debut album from a young lady I am sure we are going to hear a lot more of.

Keep a look out for the name, Mindy Miller.
