Born in Wessington Springs, South Dakota in 1949, Clint Miller was the youngest of eight children born into a Christian family with strong rural American values.

During his teen years, he developed a love for music and after completing high school Clint became an honour student at the highly prestigious Don Martin School of Radio and Television, after which he signed with VMC Records and the Charles Stern Advertising Agency. Clint recorded and released his own material on VMC and performed on various commercials.

He was ordained in into the church in 1989, and in May of 1998, Pastor Miller received a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Hyles-Anderson College.

In 1990 Clint started a record company called Miller Music, and has since spent a lot of time in the studio with stars like Jack Clement, Del McCoury, Ronnie McCoury, Bob McCoury, Jayson Carter, Mike Bub, John Carter Cash, Jimmie Tittle, Jeff White, Jamie Hartford, Sharon and Cheryl White and the Jordanaires.

Normally more known for releasing Gospel albums, this latest release from Clint, "Back To The Future" is…apart from 2 tracks…… a secular release, containing a total of 21 tracks, 9 self penned, 4 Clint Miller co-writes and 5 from the pen of Johnny Cash, with 'Cowboy' Jack Clements providing the inquisitive, "Fools Like Me."

Recent 'Hits' are included on here such as the lively, title track, "Back To The Future," the nostalgic "My Hearts In Tennessee" and the very Johnny Cash like "Back In Memphis" a self penned effort with a great, boom-chicka-boom rhythm, that would suit the great man himself. Also on here is Clint's recent, fine cover of J C's "Home Of The Blues."

Although not a Johnny Cash sound-a-like, Clint's voice lends itself well to that type of material. Just listen to his versions of other Cash songs like, "All Over Again," and " What Do I Care," with it's boom chicka boom trademark. There's also the slow "Don't Make Me Go" while memories of growing up in the Appalachian mountains are revived in "Mountain Lady."

Clint is a pretty strong songwriter himself as is evidenced on the catchy two stepper "The Love I Never Had," and his co-write with famed songwriter….and ex Brit…. Roger Cook, "As Much As I Can," a simple, but catchy little ditty that soon has you humming along.

Closing with a couple of self penned Gospel songs, "Back To The Future" is a fine album from this minister cum singer/songwriter who now resides and preaches in North San Diego County. In fact, it's been a regular in my CD player since it arrived!!

With a CD busting 21 tracks, "Back To The Future" is most certainly, great value for money in these days of the 10 or…..if you're lucky…..12 track norm" and is sure to provide many tracks for the Metro Country playlist's.

The album is being distributed in the U.K. by "Broadway U.K." For details; http://www.countrymusicinternational.net/ E Mail; broadway@countrymusicinternational.net
