1 WAYLON THIBODEAUX 9 Stompin' Grounds This Cajun boy sure knows how to get people on their feet. Honky Tonkin' Cajun at it's best! Great voice too!! 2 ALI ISABELLA 6 What If Young singer with a nice voice will surely get success with this catchy pop song but, not my idea of Country music. 3 CHARLIE SAVIGAR 5 Following The Signs This one grew on me a little after a few plays but, I wasn't over impressed. 4 EMMA HANNAH 9 I'll Walk Beside You Beautiful voice! Lovely song! Reminds me very much of the great Scottish singer, Isla Grant. 5 AMY AMES 3 Woke Up In Alaska Not impressed with this one at all. Both song and vocals very poor! 6 JEFFERSON GRIZZARD 8 Since You Came Around Takes me back to my teens in the 60's. Great Folk/Rock styling. Really enjoyed this one! 7 STU STEVENS 6 Hello Pretty Lady (Remix) Another good release from Stu! 8 PHILOMENA BEGLEY 10 Tribute to Billie Jo An excellent tribute to the late Billie Jo Spears done by Irelands own version of the great lady. 9 JESSIE JAMES 8 When You Say My Name Modern country music in the Martina McBride vein. A young lady who is sure to have a bright future. 10 PETE KENNEDY 7 You See Me Following on from the success of his previous release, “Yellow”, I predict that this will do even better for this Irish talent. 11 JT HODGES 8 Goodbyes Made You Mine Hard rocking country from JT that's certain to fill all the best dancefloors. 12 ROCKIN’ HORSE 7 Leaving Memphis Just watch the linedancers go to this one! Another winner for George and his band.13 IAN HIGHLAND 6 Pass Me By Following on from his cover of “Carmen”, Ian turns in another good cover on this Johnny Rodriguez classic. (And just before Johnny comes over here too.) 14 DEE D JAMES 6Texas Front Porch Swing One for the dancers only. Good, catchy toe tappin' tune but, weak vocals I'm afraid. 15 MEXICAN JOE WALKER 6 In The Morning Joe takes on another Don Williams tune and does a pretty decent job too. Certainly better than his last one. 16 CLARE RAE THOMAS 7 Live My Life Lively, modern country/rocker from a young lady who, by this standard, is certainly set to go places. Good debut! 17 WOMEN IN COUNTRY 8 So Broken Hearted Nice catchy tune! Two lovely voices! I'm very impressed with this one! Watch it climb the charts!

1 WESLEY PARKER 8 Wonderful, deep voice that reminds me of the late and much revered British artist, Ben Rees. 2 MARLEE SCOTT 8 Lively, modern country. Good, strong voice. Sounds like a winner to me! 3 HICKS 7 Heavy, loud, rockin' country. Certainly not your usual idea of a “country hick”. Good! 4 DAVID WOOD 9 Solid, country story song and the best yet from David. A surefire winner! 5 MARTY RIVERS 7 A good song for mothers day! 6 MICHAEL McMILLAN 6 Good cheating song but influenced more by rock than country. 7 SAM MILLAR 6 Decent cover of this Johnny Nash REGGAE song! 8 PIG EARTH 5 Very average. 9 ROYAL WADE KIMES 6 A rocker this time out for Royal. O.k. but he's done much better for me. 10 GOOD INTENTIONS 7 Another good, self penned acoustic tune!11 CLIVE JOHN 8 A fine rendition of this Steve Goodman penned, Willie Nelson hit. 12 LIANA CONWAY 7 Modern country sound this time out from this young singer with a big future. 13 ALY COOK 7 Contemporary sound from this Kiwi singer/songwriter. Nice voice! 14 MELANIE ROSE DYER 7 U.S. singer/songwriter with a rockin' honky-tonker that is sure to fill the dance floors. 15 BO WALTON 9 Very catchy tune!! Country crossed with 60's rock n' roll. Definitely someone to keep an eye on. 16 RAY PETERS 8 Another good, self penned effort from this fine British artist. 17 OWEN MOORE 6 Catchy tune! 18 STEVEN GRAVES 6 Fairly average song but it gets inside you.

8 There's no mistaking the son of the great Delbert McClinton on this fine, bluesy rocker co-penned with Rob Roy Parnell and Bruce Chanel. 2 ANTHONY DUKE 8 I said on his last release that this artist sounds good enough to do well in Nashville and listening to this latest track from his debut album, I see no reason to change that view. An artist and album well worth checking out!! 3 ACE DIAMOND 6 Another good rocker from this Hotdisc regular. Should prove very popular in the clubs. 4 DEBRA ANDREW 7 Lovely voice! Nice song! But country? 5 LAWRENCE JOHN PROJ. 9 Another from the pen of Lawrence John and this time, one that might interest Alan Jackson. Great song and fine vocals from the unnamed singer. 6 P V TANNER 5 Nice song. Well worn vocals. 7 THE STICKERS 7 Nice ballad from this band of brothers who sound set to go places. Fine musicianship. 8 RANDY THOMPSON 9 I've been a fan of Randy's for a long time now and he doesn't disappoint me with this, his latest release. A fine country/rock singer/songwriter in the Bob Seger mold. Check him out!! 9 T JAE CHRISTIAN 8 Brilliant, solid country vocalist who, should have been a major star, sings a beautiful song that is surely destined for the top end of the charts. 10 D K DAVIS 7 Catchy, country/pop tune with a distinct 70s feel, written by top songwriter Shawn Camp. Nice song! Good vocals! 11 DAN VOGLER 6 Toe tappin' tune from one of Australia's top country/gospel artist's. Good voice. Solid country sound. 12 WILL BANISTER 8 Strong release from this young singer from Clovis, New Mexico. Well worth keeping an eye on. 13 THE DIABLOS 6 Good, original, hillbilly from a band of talented British musicians. Well impressed!! 14 STEVE CHEERS 6 Decent, self penned effort from this Australian country artist's album “Speed Of Love”. 15 IAN HIGHLAND 7 British country music singer who must surely have a good future. Fine voice! 16 CHARLIE BOSTON 9 Latest single from the U.K's (and my) favourite Bluegrass artist, taken from his new, Nashville recorded album “Out On The Ridge”. If this track is anything to go by, it should be an album well worth looking out for. 17 ROCKIN’ HORSE 7 Good, solid country tune. Good vocals from George Ingles. 18 STU STEVENS 6 Good, self penned effort from this U.K. Favourite.

Love it!! 13 TRACE ADKINS 9 One of the best yet from Trace! 14 KELLEY BLACKWELL 9 Great voice and fine musicianship make this a surefire winner. 15 ANDY GRIGGS 9 I've always liked this song by Alabama and although not quite as good, Andy still does a great job of it! 16 BUDDY JEWELL 8 First class country/rocker from Buddy. 17 CLIVE JOHN 7 Prolific U.K songwriter comes up with another winner. 18 RUBY ANN - MAMA 7 Good, rock & roller that is sure to be a winner with the dancers. 19 RUBY ANN - RICH 7 Country/rocker this time from Ruby. The two together could certainly encourage some album sales for the lady. 20 LEANNE THOROSE 8 Daughter of U.K Dobro wiz Ced, Leanne is carving out a top career for herself. Good vocals, great backing. 21 GOOD INTENTIONS 7 Solid, old time sound from this classy U.K act. 22 KARIN WRIGHT 5 This rocky tune could prove popular with the dancers. 23 KEITH MOULAND 7 A guitar, a decent vocal and a good song.

8 Catchy Mavericks type tune. Very hard to keep the feet still to. Best yet from Marty! 2 JOHN STEPHAN 8 Great voice and a good cover of this Roy Orbison classic! 3 DAVID WOOD 7 I've always liked this one and although Jesse does it best, this is a decent cover from David! 4 ANNA MARIE DOBBINS 6 Country/Pop tune that will suit the young listener. Catchy! 5 AMY AMES 6 This bouncy tune will suit the linedancers a treat. 6 ACE DIAMOND 6 Another for the linedancers. 7 WESLEY PARKER 6 Good story song. 8 BILLY BURNETTE 8 Another class release from Billy. Very catchy toe-tapper. 9 BARNABY NEWMAN 7 Good, self penned song with a late 60s, early 70s country/pop feel. 10 JARED ROGERSON 7 Solid country/western tune. Good, rich vocals. 11 FRANK JENNINGS 9 Frank sounding as good as ever. I still remember seeing him on Opportunity Knocks with his band all those years ago. 13 CHARLIE BOSTON 9 Another fine, self penned effort from one of Britain's best in the world of Bluegrass. 14 LIANA CONWAY 6 More R&B than country but, still a good tune. Nice voice. 15 STEPHEN A LOVE 4 Very average cover of this Ricky Nelson hit. 16 RAY PETERS 8 Good, self penned song from this fine sounding British outfit. First time I've heard them but I hope it's not the last. 17 HONEST HAL - Spring 8 First of 2 tracks from Honest Hal, this one will suit fans of Rock-abilly. 18 HONEST HAL - Stolen 7 A country offering this time and while ..... on this listen... I didn't find it quite as good as the previous track, it could be a grower. 19 RANDY THOMPSON 9 A class country/rock act, this is another top release from Randy. Should do well in the charts 20 BLAGARDS & COWBOYS 6 Deep Purple's Pete Simper formed this band of 'A' list rock musicians to showcase his country/rock compositions. If this track, taken from their first album is a good indicator, they should do o.k in the country market.

Good song! 4 DAVID WOOD 6 Nice, traditional country song. 5 KRISTI KALYN 6 I'm a sucker for a good country shuffle and this one certainly gets the feet moving. 6 BONNIE PAUL 5 Decent country story song. 7 HAYLEY OLIVER BAND 8 Good, mid paced country shuffle. Great vocals, fine musicianship. 8 GORD BAMFORD 10 Been a fan of this guy for a long time. Why isn't he on a major lablel??? Excellent!! 9 GARY CAMPBELL 7 Good, catchy country shuffle that should get the dancers on the floor. 10 FRANK IFIELD 10 Played this track from his 1997 album “The Fire Still Burns” for many years. Great track! Superb yodelling!! (Jack Clements on Dobro.) 11 ALY COOK 5 Average contemporary country track. 12 MEXICAN JOE WALKER 4 O.K. cover of Don Williams tune. Very quiet vocals. 13 OLDE BOSTON TEA PARTY 8 Charlie Boston in latest incarnation. Another great track as usual from this top UK bluegrass artist. 14 TIM McKAY 5 Great voice but the song is much more pop than country. 15 CURTIS & NAT MAGEE 5 Pretty fair dad and daughter tune. 16 SAM MILLAR 2 Very poor! 17 ACE DIAMOND 4 Average, rocky tune. Poor vocals. 18 SEAN WILSON 6 Catchy tune from this popular Irish entertainer.

1 THE COMPANY 8 Very catchy, original, British tune sure to go down well with the dancers.... and none dancers too for that matter. 2 CLIVE JOHN & JILL S 8 Johnny Cash & June Carter in the Johnny Cash Roadshow, they perform together well on this very likeable Clive John original. 3 LAWRENCE JOHN P 8 Lawrence has been putting out some great music and this is no exception. 4 MARTY RIVERS 7 Much improved from when I first heard him about 8 or so years ago. Good self penned song. 5 DAMIAN FOLLETT 7 Dedicated to this upcoming songwriters late father. I'm sure this fine song would make him proud! 6 ALLAN CASWELL 7 This eclectic Aussie songwriter famous for writing the theme to “Prisoner Cell Block H”, goes “Behind Bars” again with a sparsley backed, more country flavoured offering. Good song! 7 GEORGE McANTHONY 8 Very catchy self penned tune from this rightly popular Italian artist! A sure hit! 8 MISSOURI MILE 9 Excellent harmonies from this sister duo! Good song and some fine backing!! 9 THE STICKERS 6 Country/rocker that is shure to go down well in the dance clubs but the chorus is a bit too repetative for me. 10 SEAN WILSON 6
Sean dumps the accordian medley's for this toe tappin' Irish/country tune ala, Curtis McGee/D O'Donnell. 11 JARED ROGERSON 8 Good, modern country/rocker. Good vocals! Major label potential. 12 BRIAN HUGHES 8 Good, self penned honkytonker and from a U.K. Artist. Keep em comin'!!

7 Interesting cover of the old Dion hit. Dancefloors should be full for this one! CASEY DILWORTH 6 Definitely grows on you the more you play it. Started with a 5 on first play. JOHN STEPHAN 8 Great voice! Australia's answer to Roy Orbison. “Mascara” is a nice self penned song. MARTIN SMITH 6 This self penned country kicker could be a linedancers favourite.SUZANNE EDWARDS 5 Fairly decent self-penned song but nothing more. SHAREN W ROBERTSON 5 Strong, meaningful lyrics. Nothing more. D K DAVIS 7 Catchy honkytonker. BYRON HILL 9 Very catchy road song from one of Nashville's top songwriters. Class! JIMMY WHITE 6 Very raunchy tune that could be popular with the dancers though, it didn't really do too much for me. ROYAL WADE KIMES 9 Great hair raiser from this western singer/songwriter. Has to be a strong candidate for the no1 spot!! DOUG ADKINS 9 Good self penned effort from this top rate major label artist. THORNE HILL 8 Very good debut effort from this singer/songwriter. Always good to hear a British artist doing original material! HEATHER LAYNE 8 Nice voice! good song! Should do well. STEVE CHEERS 8 This self penned release from down under is definitely top 10 material. 3 cheers for Steve! DAVID WOOD 7 Also known as “The Prisoners Song”, this has been recorded many times over the years, Johnny Cash to name but one. David's deep vocals do a very respectable job of it here. CERRITO & E. COOK 9 Joined by the wonderful vocals of Elizabeth Cook, Cerrito does a wonderful job of this Max D. Barnes song. A real hair raiser!! MASON 10 Taken from a 1973, unreleased album, this is a wonderful country/rocker with strains of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Mason though, is a trio consisting of Beaky & Tich from the Dave Dee led outfit DDDBM&T and led by Singer/songwriter, Peter Mason. Boy would I love to hear the album should it get a release!! KEL-ANNE BRANDT 8 Very good cover of former The Judds hit. The linedancers will fill the floor to this one.

Distinctive and very likeable vocals! CLIVE JOHN 8 Another surefire winner from this young, talented songwriter. NICKI GILLIS 9 Best version yet of this Shel Silverstein penned Dr Hook hit. Well done Nicki!! BELLAMY BROTHERS 6 Good, but not one of this brilliant duo's best efforts. JESSE & NOAH. 5 Should suit the linedancers but, not much more than that. CHIP & CARRIE 10 This just blew me away. Terrific!!!! THE ROYS 9 Very impressed with this Bluegrass duo!! Great stuff!! DEEANN DOMINY 6 Decent country/rock ballad from this husky voiced singer making her debut. MARK WILLS 6 Above average patriotic tune from Mark. DAVID J HARTLEY 5 Certainly not boring but, for me, not very exciting either. Average effort! TIM McKAY 9 Very catchy toe-tapper! Good song! Good vocals and I see a great future for this young, U.K. Artist!! BOSTON TEA PARTY 8 A song to make you think about oil production. A very enjoyable protest song from Charlie Boston & Co! LUANNE & BRIAN 6 Nice harmony's on this tune for lovers and romantics! DEAN DOUGLAS 4 Very average country?/rocker from Dean.REG & MIRIKA 5 Catchy Rock & Roller.
